YES! The navigation rules required by law for driving Watercraft on Lake Como must be strictly observed. The rules are explained by the staff before the rental and are contained in the rental contract, which must be signed. In the event of explicit violation of the rules for driving and navigating during the rental period [monitored with the GPS installed on board], a WEC service boat, driven by the base staff, will reach the renter, immediately interrupting the service and towing the vehicle back to the base. In this case, the customer shall pay the full amount of the booked service. In the event of forced termination of the lease due to violation of navigation regulations, or for safety reasons regarding the conduct of the vessel, the lessee shall pay €50 for the recovery service and shall have no claim for the remaining and contractually agreed rental time.

YES! You must make a reservation by email, WhatsApp or telephone to WEC, indicating the day and time you wish to practice the Activity. When booking, you will need to provide personal details, a telephone number and an email in order to receive the payment link and consequently the booking confirmation. You can send your request directly from the form on this page or from the contact form on the website.

In the case of online bookings, a payment link will be sent to confirm availability. The booking will only be confirmed upon payment of the service; failing this, WEC will be free to re-allocate the booked service to further customers who wish to [book and pay for it]. In the event of a physical presentation at our centre, and subject to availability, the service will be immediately purchased and paid for prior to use.

A Security Deposit of €500 is required to rent the Jet Ski in case of any damage on the boat caused by the driver during the rental period. The amount is NOT deducted from the account but only blocked as a deposit. The deposit can ONLY be made by credit cards of the major circuits: Visa, Mastercard. NO debit cards or mobile phone payment apps are accepted. In order to confirm the booking before the rental, we recommend that you also provide your personal Credit Card details by telephone in order to make the Deposit; this will help us to shorten the time required to draw up the compulsory contracts to be signed before starting the rental. The deposit will be returned in accordance with the terms of the card issuer's circuits if the boat is not damaged in any way attributable to the contracting party.

In the event of damage attributable to the Lessee during the period of rental of the Watercraft, WEC reserves the right to retain the security deposit by way of compensation; in the event of greater damage, the Lessee shall pay for it immediately in accordance with the signed rental agreement and the price list displayed and enclosed.

In addition to personal safety equipment, all jet skis have on board GPS, two-way radios, a telescopic paddle, a fire extinguisher, an engine cut-off safety key, and a floating tow rope. In addition to personal and on-board equipment, the WEC base has a motorboat equipped for towing and rescue. We can intervene within minutes to assist customers and motorbikes in distress.

YES! The driver and passenger are insured during the rental period of the Watercraft for third party liability. Watercraft are not insured for damage caused to the watercraft by the lessor as a result of the lessor's driving behaviour, in which case the deposit paid at the time of signing the rental agreement shall be retained; without prejudice to the right of recourse for further damage.

Yes! All technical material, clothing and equipment needed to carry out any activity is provided by WEC and is included in the rate. Fuel is also included for the rental period.

Italian law under the Consumer Code, pursuant to Article 7 of Law no. 229 of 29 July 2003 (Legislative Decree 6 September 2005, no. 206); under letter N. provides that leisure activities are NOT refundable if the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance. Having booked a service for a specific date and made the payment, you are not entitled to a refund. WEC, in order to accommodate you, provides for the issuance of a Voucher for the same service and the same amount to be used during the calendar season within which you made the booking.
